I was always angry during [group maternity care sessions] because this was my second child and the information wasn’t new to me, and I understand that the other parents, you know, I felt like they were getting a lot of really good information from me and whatnot, but, like, I wasn’t getting paid to be there, you know what I mean? Like giving them information and sitting in there and listening to their idiotic questions and being a resource for them while not being compensated in any way was just not good. I did not enjoy that experience at all.
